Just Yes

I don’t have all the poetry right.

The stanzas aren’t always rhythm-tight.

I don’t throw out couplets by the dozens

Like Shakespeare and his cousins.

I just have a “yes” resounding in my soul,

So with emphatic answer come
And make Your promise full.
